THE TEACHER:
Say Hey Social was founded by Nicole Czarnecki in January 2021, a social media and influencer marketing strategist fatigued of agency bureaucracy withholding clients from their full creative potential. Her original mission was to support small businesses ready to seriously scale and thoughtfully invest in affordable yet strategic social media, influencer marketing and content creation services.
Nicole Czarnecki is an OG social media manager. She first gained the title in 2014 when she began her career at a boutique digital marketing agency (now called Stella Rising), where she helped indie brands build social media presences, advertise on Facebook and Instagram and creatively market their products amongst an ever-evolving social landscape. After a full and rewarding four years there learning all about digital (beyond social) and building the framework for the agency’s influencer services as her final hooray, she ventured into brand strategy / sales roles at startups in the creator partnerships space, such as Activate, working with a wide range of Fortune 100 to impressive brands such as Country Crock, Moroccanoil, Artis Beauty, GoDaddy, Amazon Prime Video, and Dove Real Beauty. It was then that she found a knack for solving brand challenges through creative, multi-channel marketing.
When Covid hit, Nicole was truthfully eager to exit agency life as the content creator boom began (stirring agencies everywhere) but an opportunity in her backyard in Jersey City to work with an impressive production studio (enter: Malka Media) caught her eye. She sat finally, albeit virtually, on the other side of the creative table next to video editors, animators, graphic designers, etc. As the story goes, in January 2021, Say Hey Social was born and the work began helping growth-hungry brands build strategy, content and community. Today, Nicole operates as a fractional CMO, has a small team of hardworking content creators, and has worked with clients ranging from Milk Sugar Love and O'Bagel locally to Real Techniques and jane iredale nationally.
As deep as her career roots are in social, Nicole likes to live outside the feed majority of my time. She lives at the local dog run with her irish doodle Shea, spends most weeknights battling her college sweetheart husband at Mario Kart, loves throwing her friends a good dinner party and considers Cape May her happiest place.
